POLAND Skanska is starting a trial of itsintelligent safety helmet, which has been designed to improve – and possiblyrevolutionise – safety on building sites.
斯堪斯卡波兰开始一项关于智能安全帽的实验，目的是提高，甚至是革命性的提高建筑地点的安全性。
Fifty workers on the Generation Parkoffice development inWarsawwill receive the helmet during the test period. Itwill be connected to a special monitoring system that notifies the office if itdetects anomalies signifying any dangerous situations on site, such as shocks,blows, falls or sharp declines in the temperature under the helmet. Thenotification will also include the location of the employee, thus improving thereaction time for assistance. The safety helmet also makes it easier to processthe documentation on the site – the system it is connected to can inform buildingsite inspectors of the validity of medical examinations, health and safetytraining and the qualifications of specialist staff.
在实验期间，有50名员工参与试戴。安全帽连上一个监控系统，可以实时反映工作现场的异常情况，比如遭受冲击、撞击、摔倒或是安全帽内部温度剧降等。如有这些异常情况出现，监控系统会发出警告，并且显示出现异常员工的具体位置，这样可以大大的提高救援的效率。同时这种智能安全帽也十分便于员工的文件管理，这个系统可以将员工的疾病检查、健康与安全培训以及职业资格等信息集合在一起。
“The construction industry is one of themost conservative and dangerous sectors. When thinking about its development wehave to look at innovations that not only support effective building sitemanagement but also save human life. The intelligent safety helmet is one ofthe systems that will be widely used on Skanska’s building sites. Today’s pilotimplementation shows that this is not the distant future but already thepresent,” explained Marek Malinowski, the director of Skanska’s research andinnovation centre.
